Hey Dave, Thanks for the input on the Wolfman bag - I got lucky yesterday; found one on clearance for $50.00. I also see what you mean about the new style Kawi saddlebags...while they'd probably be OK for my needs, I always like to err on the side of caution. I'll keep on looking. Thanks again. Scot...

Thanks Dave,

I've heard that none of the aftermarket tank bags fit as well as the factory unit...have you found this to be true? Or is this just hot air?

Thanks again.

TOGA, Thanks for the input - I've acquired the factory tail bag that you describe since my initial post, and I really like it. I also did some more looking around, and decided that since I'm moving from Washington to California next month, waterproof gear won't be a significant concern. I have a goo...

KLR Adventure Luggage

Hi All, As a long-time MX/desert/Enduro/off-road guy, I'm moving into the more street-minded dual sport stuff for occasional riding, and especially for winter time...and so I can actually keep up with some of my street-only riding friends. I just bought a new Kawasaki KLR 650. Does anyone have any t...

DB - There is a way to do it. What part of the state are you in? Anthony at Ride Motorsports in Woodinville has a way. Since you ride a Honda, they will talk to you there...it may be worth stopping by on a Saturday to have a chat with Anthony, if you're able. The only hitch is that the bike can neve...

dilyb, Unfortunately, I don't even think that approach will work - WSP rules state that in order for any vehicle to be newly registered with a new title, receipts must be presented for every last part on the vehicle...at the time of inspection (you'd be amazed at the hoops one must jump through just...

Four baseball bats and three of your best friends sounds like a good start to me... Just kidding, of course. I'd do some research on the situation in California; some of Diane Feinstein's cronies in the state government were trying to ram a similar thing through, but were stopped cold due to some ki...

Unfortunately, it's true. Since 1999, it has been all but impossible to license any machine with an original title stating 'Off-Road Use Only', no matter the modifications. Erik's right - some Euro bikes can still get away with it, such as the Gas Gas that I recently purchased, but I'd only give tha...

Ron, I don't know where you live, but there are many options for custom seat work, in case you can't find anything that you like in the aftermarket. My contacts are in the Seattle and Los Angeles areas, if you're close to either. Please let me know if these locations are close to you, and I'll be ha...
